A Swiss semi-custom dayboat has been selected in the category up to 10 meters and can be seen at the Cannes Yachting Festival at stand POWER 120.

Zurich/Cannes, September 9, 2026 – The GANZ 7X Open has been nominated for the 2027 European Power Boat of the Year Award. The international panel of experts selected the Swiss motorboat in the category "Boats up to 10 meters." The nomination was announced on September 8, 2026, the first day of the Cannes Yachting Festival.

The "European Power Boat of the Year Award" is one of the most established European awards for new powerboats. The jury comprises test managers and editors-in-chief from leading European powerboat publications. Criteria include workmanship, safety, handling, design, interior layout, and value for money. Following the testing and evaluation phase, the winner will be announced on the opening evening of boot Düsseldorf 2027.

Open deck concept and individual configuration

The 7X Open is designed as a compact dayboat with direct access to the water and easy entry. Generous lounge areas, a clearly structured deck, and a wide-open bathing area seamlessly integrate cruising, relaxing, and swimming in a continuous layout. Clean lines, sculptural surfaces, and precise transitions define its distinctive design language.

As a semi-custom model, the 7X Open can be tailored to the owner's intended use and style in terms of colors, materials, upholstery, and equipment details. The length is 7.50 or 8.10 meters; the beam is 2.53 meters. Diesel and gasoline engines ranging from 200 to 380 hp are available. The boat is designed for up to ten people.

GANZ Boats at the Cannes Yachting Festival

GANZ Boats is presenting the 7X at the Cannes Yachting Festival until Sunday, September 13, 2026. At stand POWER 120, trade visitors, media representatives, and interested parties can view the boat and discuss configurations, application profiles, and sea trials with the team. Individual appointments can be arranged directly through the press contact.

The nomination during the international boat show puts the 7X Open in direct technical comparison with current innovations in its class. For GANZ Boats, it also marks a further step in expanding the international presence of the Swiss brand.
