THE BOATS
Can you go wakeboarding and water-skiing with any boat?
No, only with the petrol boats. However, all the petrol boats have a water ski tow bar and a powerful 280 hp engine with duoprop.
Who hands over the boat to me and to whom do I return it?
You can pick up and return a boat on your own.
What type of engines are the boats equipped with?
All the petrol boats are equipped with at least 280 hp petrol engines from Volvo Penta.
All the electric boats are equipped with POD drives and lithium-polymer batteries.
How old and how well maintained are the boats?
The boats are used in the Sharing programme for no longer than 3 seasons. Every winter the boats are professionally serviced and refitted.
Is there rescue equipment on board?
Yes, the boats are equipped with rescue equipment for the permitted number of passengers.
Can you wakesurf behind any boat?
No, the Ovation 6.8 WSS is best suited boat for wakesurfing. You can find more information about this boat here: www.ganzboats.ch
Are you allowed to use tubes?
You should check the laws of the local authorities in advance in this case and be sure to comply with them. You are in principle allowed to use the tubes that you bring along. However, it is important to note that the water ski tow bar cannot withstand the forces generated by a tube. You are thus obliged to attach the tubes to the mooring cleats.

How much does one credit cost?
The cost of 1 time credit is based on the subscription prices.
What other costs are there?
A deposit of CHF 1,000.00 is due when you take out your membership. It will be refunded to you after cancellation.
Is the full amount payable in the first year?
No, you must pay the amount for the upcoming season before the start of each season. What happens in the event of an accident?It is important to fill in the accident report, which you will find in the document bag. After that, our members are of course insured through us. The excess in case of personal fault is CHF 1,000.00.

Can you also share your Sharing membership with friends?
No, your Sharing membership may only be shared with family members.
How much petrol do the engines consume?
Although this depends largely on your driving style and the load, you can expect about 15 to 50 litres per hour.
How many Sharing participants share a boat?
As any user can book any boat, no fixed number can be given.
Are the weekends often fully booked?
You can almost always find a boat if you are somewhat flexible regarding time and place. We recommend booking important dates early to be sure you get a boat.
Are the boats insured?
Yes, the boats are insured with fully comprehensive coverage. The excess is a maximum of CHF 1,000 and must be borne by the party that caused the damage.
Grossly negligent and unlawful driving are not insured.

What are the benefits of the GANZ Sharing app?
You have everything under control with the app. You can make bookings, maintain contact details and cancel reservations.
You will also receive up-to-date information during your trip or in the event of an emergency. You can even track all your past and future bookings. You can also give us direct feedback.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Cancellation period
You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the starting time.
Return in the evening
Out of fairness, boats must be at their anchorages on time.
How do I find the right petrol station?
The app shows you your location on the lake as well as any petrol stations during the trip.
Is there a booking limit?
There can be a maximum of 5 bookings per person for petrol boats and 2 for electric boats (i.e. you can book either up to 5 or 2 shifts).
As soon as you have finished driving 1 booking with the boat, you can make a new reservation.
Electric boats cannot be reserved for the whole day.
